I want to put out there that Paleo is not a quick weight loss program. You are not going to drop drastic weight in 4, 6, 12 weeks. I promote Paleo because I believe it is a lifestyle.  A way to eat for the rest of your life and your families lives.  I promote whole foods, quality meats, wild caught seafood, veggies, healthy fats, fruits, nuts, seeds.  I hope to help you change the way you look at food and the way your view your body.

The first 3 weeks to 30 days is about changing your body from being a carb burner to a fat burner. You will experience moods, fatigue, bloating…. it gets better, you just have to be patient. The good part is you will sleep better, burn more fat, build lean muscle (if exercising), clear up skin, reduce inflammation….

My goal is for you to be healed from the inside out. Then your body will reward you shedding body fat, losing inches and building lean muscle (if exercising). HOWEVER…. the scale may never change or even worse… it may go up! Do not freak out…. if you are losing body fat and building muscle the scale may go up, but your clothes size goes down. SO… my advice… THROW OUT THE SCALE!

I want to help you stop the insane madness that you might live in every day.  How many of you live your life wondering how many calories are in this? What are the fat percentages in that? Whole foods don’t have labels.  Eat when you are hungry and eat till you are full.  In the beginning if you are more hungry, then eat! I want you to be satisfied all day every day.  You should never be wandering through your Paleo journey starving or feeling deprived.  Maybe depressed at first because you decided to stop eating Pizza every Friday night.  But guess what??? You will lose the desire and cravings for pizza.  There you go… another benefit to following a Paleo lifestyle.

We live in an instant gratification world. We all want to start a new plan for health and see immediate results.  A Paleo lifestyle will give you immediate results… you just won’t see them because you are healing your body from the inside out.  Which is truly what our goals should be.
